My story

I spent years fighting a body I no longer understood.

After going into surgical menopause at 39, it hit me like a freight train. I was never given any guidance or advice — and at times I felt very alone. There is so much information and misinformation out there that at times it was overwhelming, and I felt like I had failed before I even began. A decade on — and a lot of mistakes later — I have finally designed something I stand for. I have discovered it's about me controlling this journey, not it controlling me — from perimenopause through menopause and into post-menopause.

As oestrogen drops, the old fitness advice inverts: fasted cardio becomes muscle loss, constant running without resistance accelerates bone decline, and eating less only slows the metabolism further. Menopause isn't decline — it's a biological shift with its own training language.

That discovery became Ember. Heavy resistance, sprint intervals, proper protein timing, and recovery treated as sacred as the work itself. I'm stronger now — mentally and physically — than I was at forty — and I sleep through the night. This is the programme I wish I'd found sooner.

There are no quick fixes for menopause. It is about a lifestyle shift — a few tweaks and a new mindset that can help unlock the strength and clarity that is already there.

I want to share my story and this programme with every woman struggling to navigate this journey — because no one should have to figure it out alone.

Enjoy,

How Ember works

One hormone-aware system.

Most apps hand you a workout. Ember gives you a framework — built around what changes when oestrogen drops.

Why now

Menopause isn't a decline. It's a new set of training rules.

Dr Stacy Sims PhD, the physiologist who rewrote the science of female training in her book Next Level, puts it plainly: as oestrogen drops, the old advice — eat less, run more, push through — stops working and starts costing you muscle, bone, sleep and metabolic health. The research is clear: what your body needs now is the opposite of what most fitness culture sells you.

Heavy resistance training defends your skeleton. Short, sharp sprint work sharpens your brain and your insulin response. Protein — earlier, and more of it — protects the muscle that protects your future. This is the decade where consistent, intelligent training compounds into thirty more years of strength, autonomy and clear thinking. Ember is built around that science, for the woman who's ready to train for the life she actually wants next.

A new way forward

This is a lifestyle — not a quick fix.

Ember isn't a three-month health kick to get you back into your twenties. The body you have now isn't broken — it's different. And it needs a different kind of care. What worked in your thirties often works against you in menopause, because the hormonal landscape has changed.

This is about learning to move, eat and recover in a way that honours where you are today — and builds the strength and resilience you'll need for the decades ahead. It's a commitment to a new way of living that carries you forward, not a race back to how things used to be.

The goal isn't to turn back the clock. It's to move confidently into this next chapter — stronger, steadier, and fully at home in the body you have right now.

Holistic longevity.

We focus on more than aesthetics. Movement and hormonal nutrition work as one — protecting bone density, easing joints, steadying blood sugar and calming cortisol. The things that actually matter through midlife.
